Could someone clarify me this.?
WHich is the bigger version of laptop between Notebooks and Net Books.
I always thought net books were the smaller as they are designed for mobility. And notebooks are the big laptops. Am I wrong or which way around is it. I may of made the mistake of going to PC world and I asked the person there will this card (network card) be fine with my advent laptop 9515 she said yes but it doesn’t seem to fit the slot.
You’re correct. Net books are the smaller laptops. They are usually about 10 inches or less. They usually come with no CD/DVD drive so if you are ever in need of one, you would have to purchase a USB external one to use with it.
Notebooks are the regular sized laptops that most people have. They come in sizes like 15 to 17 inches and larger.
As for the card, return it and take your laptop so that you could make sure that you get the correct card for the slot you want. Most people that work at computer sales places are trained when they got hired so they may not always be correct about what they tell you.
